The Issue

The Cancer Society of New Zealand together with supporting organisations, are calling for a total ban on the display of cigarettes and other tobacco products in petrol stations, shops and other retail outlets where cigarettes are sold.

According to a Cancer Society commissioned survey, 67% of all adult NZers support this move. This includes 68% of non-smokers and 59% of smokers.

Cigarette displays = active marketing

The Cancer Society and our supporters urge all New Zealanders to join the campaign and have your voice heard on this important issue!
